If you have obtained a non-virtual account, then your home directory on our server will be set up within 24 hours
of your account initiation. However, if you have obtained a virtual account, it will take 1 to 2 weeks for Internic
to register your domain and make it available to the rest of the world if it is a .COM domain, and possibly longer
for .NET and .ORG domains. Upon completion, Internic will respond to us via e-mail, and we will notify you
immediately.

The server is capable of running CGI scripts written in Perl, Unix Shell, "C", "C++", and Java. In
order to use your scripts, you will need to place them in the /cgi-bin/ subdirectory of your account. It

in order to properly manage (CR) characters that are problematic for Unix scripts. As well, the mode of the
file needs to be changed to 755 by issuing chmod 755 scriptname on the script in question once it has been
placed on the server.
